The Black Box

The Black Box technics enable to describe any system by recursively detailing each element in a serie of Black Boxes inside the bigger one. If precision and exhaustiveness of description includes all input, output, actions and mecanisms, it is called SADT Method, developped during the 60's by US MOD. This method enable to describe a simple component model throughout to a spaceship.

Our experience

Concerned to provide the singular most adaptated solution to a problem resolution, our task always start by identification of source causes for waste and break-down. The next step would evaluate the current system along with its specifications and usage. Modification suggestion would be produced in order to adjust best to the real requirements. Many entreprises rely on several discrete data base, without any relation with each other. Whence these Data Bases are not related, each relation require manual modification either way, which is likely to introduce errors and waste. Very often major data base tools work with SQL Ansi92 standard, notably mySQL, Microsoft Access, PostGre, etc…

The technic

The requirement is the tranfer from one database to another.

For example : The files are sitting in MS Access. The entreprise decided today to have an interface for each their staff, supplier, customers and the public and potential clients. There are about 5 to 10 separate database systems, spreadsheets and information sitting on the companie's web site, no relation among these exists, this is where Arte Scriba can prove usefull. All these information, clients, suppliers, visitors, may be regroup on one single data base. One hermetically seperated interface for each staff, customer, supplier and public enables to distribute the information apropriatly.
